Kerry Robert Shannon

Kerry Robert Shannon, age 67, of Holland, Ohio passed away on August 14, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on March 20, 1951 to Robert and Jean (Lewis) Shannon. Kerry was a mechanical engineer for 40 years. His career started with American Motors, and later, the Dana Corporation, where he earned his Masters in Business. Kerry was a member of the NRA, Maumee United Methodist Church, and Society of Automotive Engineers. He enjoyed gardening, swimming, hunting, and spending time with his family. Kerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan; sons, Brian (Constance) Shannon, Ross (Lindsey DeBruyne) Shannon and Lee (Jamie Tuttle) Shannon; four grandchildren with a fifth on the way; father, Robert Shannon; siblings, Kathy (James) Vosmek, Scott (Jeanne) Shannon, Lynne (Darrell) Mattson and Mary (Mike) Hell. He is preceded in death by his mother. Friends and Family will be received at Maumee United Methodist Church, 405 Sackett St., Maumee on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11 A.M.
